London action at Puma flagship store

Activists from a good number of London branches handed out some three hundred leaflets to Carnaby Street strollers. Perhaps it was the Christmas decorations or the carol singers nearby or just the absence of pro-Israeli disrupters which meant a really good atmosphere.  Many passers-by took the time to carefully read the banner and the placards.

There was one interesting discussion with a Tel Aviv resident who clearly lived in a different space from other Israelis and Palestinians.  She was a Meretz supporter but had to be guided to the Adalah data base of discriminatory laws and be apprised of the repression in Israeli football.  Her son confirmed our statement that Beitar Jerusalem was racist!
