Activists had another very good day outside PUMA’s flagship store in Carnaby Street. Not many potential purchasers got into the shop, and quite a few passers-by stopped to discuss what it was all about. It was gratifying to find some local shop assistants who wanted to come out and join us, but they had to complete their shift!
The most amazing thing was how few people there were on the street – about a quarter the normal level. Clearly a Coronavirus effect. Yet curiously that seemed to make handing out leaflets easier.
