The Palestinian call to boycott Puma until it drops sponsorship of the racist Israeli Football Association was repeated across the world on Saturday. From Sweden to New Zealand, from Malaysia to the USA, activists in twenty two countries approached retailers to stop trading Puma products.
The picture above is the scene on Carnaby Street outside the PUMA flagship store. A letter from PSC was handed to the manager. Details of events elsewhere have been published by a number of groups and an aggregation will be available soon.
The international campaign is being coordinated by PACBI (Palestinian Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel) and in the UK PSC is managing the campaign with RCIR.
